la Société Honoraire de Français
La Société Honoraire de Français is a national honor society that recognizes outstanding achievement in the study of French. Membership is by invitation and is based on academic excellence and continued commitment to the French language and culture.
To be eligible for induction, students must meet the following criteria:

Be enrolled in at least their fourth semester of French (e.g., the second semester of French II or higher)

Be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade

Have earned at least an A– (or equivalent) in French for the previous three consecutive semesters

Hold a current grade of A– (or equivalent) in their French course at the time of induction
Once inducted, students remain members of the Société Honoraire de Français as long as they continue their French studies.
Members participate in organizing events and fundraisers that reflect their interests and celebrate French language and culture. Past activities have included "pique-niques", croissant sales, and French cooking lessons, creating a fun and enriching community for students passionate about French.
