ACCESS for ELLs
This annual assessment is required for students identified as English Learners (ELs). ACCESS measures English language proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It helps guide instruction and determines when students no longer need EL services.
FastBridge
Administered to all 9th and 10th grade students three times per year (fall, winter, spring), FastBridge provides quick, reliable insight into student growth in reading and math. Results help teachers tailor instruction and identify students who may benefit from additional support.
Forward Exam
All 10th grade students take the Forward Exam in Social Studies each spring. This computer-based assessment evaluates student understanding of state social studies standards and contributes to school accountability measures.
PreACT
The PreACT is given to all 9th and 10th grade students to help them prepare for the ACT. It mirrors the content and format of the ACT and provides early feedback on college readiness skills in English, math, reading, and science.
ACT
Administered to all 11th grade students as part of Wisconsin’s statewide testing program, the ACT is a college admissions exam accepted by most colleges and universities. It assesses academic readiness in core subject areas and may be used for college entrance and scholarships.
PSAT
The PSAT is offered in October to interested 10th and 11th grade students. It serves as both a practice SAT and, for 11th graders, the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program. It also provides helpful feedback to guide college and career planning.
