🌟 Nathan Hale High School Exceeds Expectations on Wisconsin State Report Card!

We’re proud to share that Nathan Hale High School’s 2024-25 State Report Card shows major growth and achievement gains! Our overall score rose from 65.7 (“Meets Expectations”) to 75.1 (“Exceeds Expectations”), reflecting the dedication of our students, staff, and families.

📚 Academic Growth and Achievement

  • Overall academic achievement improved nearly 10 points — with strong gains in both English Language Arts and Math.

  • Students are growing faster than their peers statewide, earning Hale a Growth Score of 78.4, one of the highest among Wisconsin high schools.

  • The percentage of students who are proficient or advanced increased in both ELA and Math.

đź’Ş Closing Gaps and Supporting All Learners

  • Our Target Group Outcomes score (focused on students who need the most support) climbed from 57.5 âžś 70.8 — a powerful sign of progress toward equity and opportunity for every student.

  • Students who previously struggled the most made notable gains in both growth and achievement.

🎓 On-Track for Success

  • Graduation Rate: Steady and strong at 93%, above the state average.

  • Chronic Absenteeism: Improved from 31.7% to 22.3%, showing that more students are engaged and present every day.

🎨 College, Career, and Creativity

  • More students are taking advanced courses and earning industry credentials, preparing them for life beyond high school.

  • Participation in arts and design courses continues to grow, highlighting the importance of creativity in a well-rounded education.
