Hale Families and Staff Celebrate a Successful Night of Connection and Community!
Nathan Hale High School was buzzing with energy and excitement on Wednesday, October 15, as families, students, and staff came together for our annual Parent-Teacher Conferences. The evening marked a major success in our ongoing goal of connecting with every family to ensure that 100% of our students continue to grow academically and personally.
Parents had the chance to meet one-on-one with teachers and counselors to celebrate student progress, discuss goals, and strengthen the partnership between home and school. Our dedicated Student Services Team — Ms. Lemke, Ms. Piotrowski, and Mr. Woodford — helped organize the evening to make it both meaningful and engaging for everyone.
In addition to valuable academic conversations, families enjoyed a night full of community, prizes, and fun. The first 100 guests were treated to a delicious spaghetti dinner provided by Capri Di Nuovo, while others explored booths from NORA Mental Health, Southwest Suburban Health Department, Rogers Behavioral Health, DentaMed, and representatives from several military branches.
The night also included a FAFSA and Scholarship presentation by MATC, offering students and families practical guidance on planning for college and career success. To top it off, our talented Band, Orchestra, and Choir students closed the evening with a spirited performance that reminded everyone what makes Nathan Hale such a special place.
Adding to the excitement, each family who attended received raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes donated by our Renaissance Leadership Team — including gift cards, Beats headphones, and an iPad. The winners were drawn the next morning during advisory, bringing a little extra joy to the halls of Hale. Winners were Finola P. ($25 gift card), Julia L. ($25 gift card), Eli M. (Beats Headphones), Saige P. (Apple iPad)
The night truly reflected The West Way — a community committed to partnership, celebration, and student success. Thank you to all the families who joined us, to our staff who made it possible, and to our students who continue to make us proud every day.
