Welcome to the 2025-26 school year!

On behalf of the Nathan Hale High School Staff and Administration, we hope you had an enjoyable summer and are looking forward to another outstanding year at Nathan Hale High School. We are excited to be returning to school and reconnecting as an entire school community with our first day of school Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

With school registration being completed entirely on-line, below are the links to the parent guides for Online Registration:

We have also planned a few “Husky Prep” days to support families and grade levels in the process prior to school beginning.  These begin later this month, Friday, August 22, with a day of on-line registration process assistance/fee payment in the Nathan Hale Commons (west-side school entrance), along with School Picture/ID Photo, and locker set-up on this day as well.  Please see below for details regarding this day and other family and student opportunities.

Nathan Hale Commons

Please attend this day to access computers to complete the on-line registration process or to get questions answered, as well as pick-up a “FREE” mandatory Hale issued lock (green in color to use for hallway locker all high school years) for all freshmen or if you do not currently have one, parking pass (complete the vehicle registration form and pick-up hang tag-$80), senior graduation fee ($20), yearbook ($76), join PTSA, or register for a student/family Booster Club athletic pass.

School fees, the senior graduation fee, and optional parking permit can be paid for on-line in section #9 of the registration process or can be paid by check (Nathan Hale High School) or cash on this day or another Husky Prep Day. Yearbooks can also be purchased on-line at https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A09443300 through Jostens yearbook company or by check/cash during the Husky Prep days.

There will be a school picture/ID retake day in September for those that cannot attend this day, but know that your student will then be starting the year without their school ID needed for various school purposes.  Specifically, a student ID may be needed to attend athletic/school events to verify they are a member of the school, as well as sign into our attendance system for passes to class.

Freshmen Orientation Program

Thursday, August 28 from 7:30 am-11:30 am

All freshmen and their families are strongly encouraged to attend our annual Freshmen Orientation morning.  This morning will give you an opportunity to become familiar with Nathan Hale High School before the first day of school on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.  We will begin with a brief welcome to both students and parents in the auditorium, followed by a general overview of the school for parents, while the freshmen report to their Advisory homeroom for some activities (meet teacher and mentors, walk class schedule, and familiarize themselves with the building). After the presentation (approximately 9:30 a.m.), the adults will leave and return for student pick-up at 11:30 am.  Specific details for this day will be sent in a follow-up email to freshmen families.

New Student (grades 10-12) Orientation Program

Thursday, August 28 from 10:00 am-11:30 am

All new upper classmen and their families are strongly encouraged to attend this orientation.  We will begin with a brief welcome and general overview of the school in the auditorium, followed by an opportunity for these students to walk their class schedule and familiarize themselves with the building.

Student Class Schedules and other School Information

Student class schedules are now accessible in the Skyward information system to those students/families that have submitted their online registration. All students will then receive a hard copy schedule the first day of school in their Advisory homeroom.  Class schedules will continue to be worked on over the next few weeks as some are incomplete and others possibly being adjusted to balance course enrollments, lunches, or to address course conflicts.  Questions regarding your student’s schedule should be directed to their school counselor.

Class textbooks will be distributed during classes in the first week of school. There are no specific class materials lists.  Students should come prepared with general class supplies (i.e.-notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, binders, calculator, etc…) and will learn about any specific supplies during orientation or the first week of school.

As for technology, chromebooks will once again be made available for student use with distribution the first week of school as well.  Any student still in possession of a school issued chromebook from last school year should return the device to the main office on one of the Husky Prep Days in order to remove the replacement fee from their account or pay the replacement fee in order to receive another device this school year.

Bus Schedules

Postcards will be mailed out Friday, August 22, directly from the First Student bus company to family households of those students eligible for bus transportation (2 miles or further from school).  The postcard will contain the route number, pick-up location, time, etc…  Any questions should be directed to the WAWM District Transportation Department at #604-3088.
